KALAMAZOO, MI – Multiple Amtrak cancellations due to the winter storm will affect travel within the state of Michigan in the days leading up to Christmas.
The company has canceled its Wolverine 352 and 353 trains with service from Pontiac to Chicago and return from Dec. 22-25, according to information posted on its website. The train, along with numerous other stops along the way, stops in Detroit, Ann Arbor, Jackson and Kalamazoo.

While trains 352 and 353 are canceled, not all Amtrak trains running between the above destinations are canceled on those days.
Amtrak has also canceled some of its service from Grand Rapids to Chicago, starting service on its Pere Marquette 370 train, for December 22-24 and from Chicago to Grand Rapids on the Pere Marquette 371 from December 23-25.
Pere Marquette also makes stops in St. Louis. Joseph/Benton Harbor, Bangor and Holland.
Not all service between Grand Rapids and Chicago has been canceled, and Amtrak is still operating some trains between the two destinations as of the morning of Friday, December 23.

Passengers are encouraged to check with Amtrak to make sure their train is running before starting travel and to contact Amtrak directly if their train is canceled and they wish to make other travel arrangements.
