We have had an unusual quarter of historical events, mainly in the global arena, with financial and political events just around the corner. Despite these turbulent times in our surroundings, our operations have continued without a hitch, at the same high pace as in previous quarters.
Aino, during the second quarter, worked intensively with sales and marketing, improving the offering for the SaaS platform and involving other customers, such as UPM and parts of DHL. The extension for Transcom Netherlands is now successfully implemented.
During the quarter, we worked intensively on developing the strategy for more SaaS licenses and refocused sales and marketing to fully support the chosen direction. This means that we will no longer offer consulting services in organization and leadership, as we see that our main business value is delivered through the SaaS platform.
One of our existing customers, a global company, chose during the quarter to extend the contract with a further 3,200 licenses in its Swedish operations. We consider it very positive that more and more of our existing global customers are choosing to extend our platform to more parts of their organizations.
We are seeing a growing trend of reporting and auditing within employee sustainability in large international organizations. This spring, I visited the National Partner Organizations of CSR Europe, which includes some of the largest employers in Europe, to discuss how they relate to the new EU legislation on employee sustainability. Interest was high and many in attendance were interested in how we have been working on this issue over the past 25 years.
During this year’s Almedalen Week, Aino held a workshop together with PWC and Sodexo to discuss how large international organizations work with sick leave and wellness in their organizations. It was a very rewarding panel discussion which, together with the other meetings in Visby, increased our conviction that our platform can be part of the solution to our shared future societal challenges.
As of June 30, Aino Health has about 70,000 subscribers.
